Motivation, Drive and Dan Pink

Dan pink talks about three kinds of motivation:
1.0 biological (thirst, hunger).
2.0 external (carrot and stick).
3.0 internal (engagement).

Daniel Pink then focuses on Motivation 3.0 and explains more about what it is, when it works and why it works.

Could it be that the fashionable spotlight on intrinsic motivation in the 21st century is in fact a lie designed to get us doing more for less?

I interviewed Eliane Glaser, author of “Get Real” on this topic.

Thanks for your view on this. I go with Dan Pink, another motivation than money alone is relevant. Not in every situation, which Dan points out, but in many.

How much and how often we are connected to work and the digital world is a personal choice. It’s up to each of us to set our own priorities.
